Panama runs
in my veins.
Born and raised traveling this country. Eight years shaping how it presents itself to the world.
Institutional knowledge,
personal connection.
From 2015 to 2023, I worked at the Panama Tourism Authority, first as International Fair Coordinator and then as Head of Product Development. In that second role, I was part of the core team that developed Panama's National Sustainable Tourism Master Plan (2020): the structural framework that defines how Panama's thematic routes are organized, which assets belong to which circuit, and what the country's tourism product actually consists of.
That document is not background reading for this work. It is the architecture. When I design a program, I am applying the same criteria that shaped how Panama built its tourism product. I have visited and assessed these experiences personally, in many cases under conditions designed for senior officials visiting key sites, which means I know what each experience is genuinely capable of at its best. To that, I add years of supplier relationships, continued proximity to the destination, and the judgment that comes from growing up in this country.

The formation, in order.
Panama Tourism Authority, International Fair Coordinator
Managed Panama's commercial delegation at over 65 international tourism trade shows, including ITB Berlin, WTM London, and FITUR Madrid, among others. Coordinated delegation agendas, press interviews, and private buyer meetings, presenting Panama's tourism offer to international buyers and media across markets.
Panama Tourism Authority, Head of Product Development
Part of the core team that developed Panama's National Sustainable Tourism Master Plan (2020). Defined the country's thematic tourism routes, identified product gaps, and coordinated with regional stakeholders and international consultants. Led the visitor centers project, developed in partnership with the Biomuseo, with centers opened to the public in Boquete, Pedasí, and Portobelo, alongside interpretation panels installed in key sites across the country.

Marciacq Travel, founded
Panama-exclusive travel design studio. Applying institutional knowledge, validated supplier relationships, and a structured design process to programs for individuals, families, and corporate groups.

A travel design consultancy.
What the client pays for is expertise, coordination, and judgment. The planning fee covers the design work. The supplier relationships are built over years of direct involvement with the destination at the highest institutional level.
Every program is built from a precise understanding of what Panama can offer and how to sequence it. The knowledge behind the design is structural, not assembled. That is what makes it different.
HOW WE WORKWhat makes the difference.
Built from the inside
The National Sustainable Tourism Master Plan was written to define how Panama presents itself. The advisor who co-authored that document is applying it to your program, not reading it as background research.
Relationships built over years
Every supplier in a Marciacq program has been selected against a consistent standard: not price point, but rigor of curation and reliability of delivery. If a supplier does not meet that bar, it does not appear in a program.
One country, profoundly understood
Panama exclusively. The focus is deliberate. It is what makes the knowledge structural rather than assembled, and what allows every program to be built from genuine depth rather than researched familiarity.
